NEW DUAL-AXIS MODULES EXTEND CAPABILITIES OF PCI-BUS MOTION CONTROLLER
CARLSBAD, CA --- January 1, 2002 --- PMC's new Dual Servo and Dual Stepper Modules allow OEM machine builders to control from one to sixteen servo and stepper motors from a single, economical PCI card. The plug-in Modules enhance the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of the field-proven DCX-PCI300 motion control card. In addition to controlling up to 16 motors from this fully-featured controller, users can now combine high-performance Servo and Stepper Modules with the new low-cost Dual Modules to achieve an optimal balance of price/performance for each axis. Peak processing power and performance can be applied to the most demanding axes, while axes with less stringent requirements can be controlled at a lower cost per axis. Includes graphical Windows utilities, easy-to-use command language and extensive libraries and tools for Visual Basic and C/C++ programmers.
