Download the file and run it under a DOS prompt to extract the compressed files. If the DCX-AT200 already has firmware revision 3.6a or later installed, the Flash Wizard can be used to upgrade the firmware on the controller. The Flash Wizard is a program that can be run under Windows 95, 98 or NT. You can download the Flash Wizard, form the support area of Precision MicroControl's Web site at www.pmccorp.com. To determine what revision of firmware is installed in a DCX_AT200, run the WINCONTROL program under Windows, or the DCX2CTRL program under DOS, and type VE at the prompt. The controller will display the currently installed firmware revision number. If the existing firmware is older than 3.6a, or the update process fails, the included text file FLASHAPP.TXT describes how to perform a lower level update using FLASH.BAT. The text file DCXAT200_PM1_xxx.TXT contains a complete revision history for all firmware updates.
